SRIPADMANABHA TEMPLE, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM (213 Km Distance from Ernakulam)
It is a hindu temple dedicated to lord vishnu (who is also known as lord anantha). Ananda refers to sripadmanabha himself. The history of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple dates back to 8th century. It is one of the 108 sacred Vishnu temples or Divya Desams in India The temple is noted for its mural pointings.The recent revelation has solidified the status of the Padmanabha Temple as the wealthiest temple in India.

KOVALAM
Kovalam is a beach town by the Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India, located around 16 km from the city center. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. Varkala beach
Varkala Beach or Papanasam beach is situated approximately 110 kms from aranmula and 50 kms from Thiruvanathapuram International airport. The beach is a very famous spot for ayurvedic resorts and sky travelling.It is been said that northern end of varkala is for sun worshippers and southern end for hindu devotees.It is the perfect place to watch the sunset.

Veli Tourist Village, Thiruvananthapuram
This picnic spot, where the Veli Lake meets the Arabian Sea, offers boating facilities. The Veli Tourist Village, built at the meeting point has abundance of fish ponds,wading pools and landscaped gardens, along with facilities for boating and water sports. Shankumugham Beach

Shankumugham Beach is a beach in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, south India. The beach is on the western side of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) city and very near to Trivandrum International Airport. Shanghumugham beach is considered as the ‘Arattukadavu’of Sri Ananthapadmanabhan. 25 Km Distance from Thiruvananthapuram to Shangumugham Beach via Kovalam Beach.

Neyyar Dam
Neyyar dam, lying against the southern low hills of the western ghats, 32 kms away from the Trivandrum city is a popular picnic spot with a lake and a picturesque dam site. Neyyar dam affords a panoramic view of the the mountains and the lake. The lion safari is a star attraction. The Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary of which the dam is a part is the habitat of over a hundred species of fauna including Asian Elephant, Tiger, Leopard, Slender Loris and reptiles like King Cobra, Travancore Tortoise, etc. A crocodile breeding centre and a lion safari park are also located in the dam site.Nearest railway station- Trivandrum Railway Station is about 32 km away, and Trivandrum International Airport is about 38 km away.

Ponmudi Hill Station
