At Nattika Beach every year a big celebration, Oruma, is held by the Kerala Govt. for promoting tourism. This programme runs for a week and thousands of people come to see and participate in this festival. Many elephants are decorated and brought for this festival and there are different types of cultural programmes performed by famous artistes in many fields.

Nattika beach is a 3 km long White sandy beautiful beach and fishing is carried on here and now, there are two resorts and lot tourists come for sight seeing & recreation. Most number of people from here work in the Gulf Countries and the remittances from abroad is very high in this area. Most people in this village are educated and well wishers. You can see beautiful Individual Villas and Bungalows are used by the village people for living. Another claim to fame is that the evergreen classic Malayalam Movie "Chemmeen" was shot here.

Stroll the beach with fascinating fantasies, reminding you of nature, the surroundings are gifted with backwaters surrounded by palm grooves; relax in the beach huts or unwind in the hammocks.

Nattika is a small village in Thrissur district of Kerala state, south India. It is centrally located about 25 km from Thrissur, Kodungallur and Guruvayur. There is a beautiful beach in this village called Nattika Beach. Nattika is on the west coast of Thrissur.

The wide and virgin beach is blessed with an endless stretch of golden sand and graciously swaying palm trees. This picturesque place is suited for beach holidays and package tours.

Nattika beach is the place to experience the love of nature. The beach is clean and long. You can walk any long to left or right. Deep sea fishing is an optional attraction.

Vizhinjam
Vizhinjam, located close to the Kovalam Beach, has a small sea port. There are a multitude of internationally acclaimed beach resorts and Ayurvedic treatment centers in and around Vizhinjam. The place also served as the imperial capital of the Ay rulers, who ruled Southern Kerala till the 10th century AD. A cave atop a boulder houses unfinished reliefs of Siva, Parvati and Kirata Murti bearing witness to ancient Pallava connections.
