Kerala also known as “God’s own country” is a state in South-west region of India on Malabar coast. The capital of Kerala is ‘Tiruvananthpuram’. Palakad:

Silent Valley:
This national park has the kind of serenity that tourists would find very relaxing. This area is situated in central part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and is an ecological paradise which preserves its tropical rainforests.
Kumarakom:
This exotic village near the banks of Vembanad Lake consists of many small islands. Tourists can have a great tour of this beautiful lake on houseboats that are provided by private establishments.
Kovalam:

Thekkady:
This area is known for its wildlife sanctuary that has several species of wild animals. Lakshadeep Islands:
This Union Territory consists of thirty-six tiny islands, five submerged banks, three reefs and twelve atolls. Only ten of these islands are inhabited, including the famous Minicoy and Kavaratti islands. A permit from the Administration is required for touring these islands as they fall under restricted area.
