Varkala Beach Kerala, Beaches in Kerala, Kerala Beach Tour, Best Beaches in India, Beach Tourism in India

Vakala is a seaside resort and spa, as well as an important Hindu centre of pilgrimage. High cliffs with rich mineral springs rise majestically from the coastline. The 2000 year old Sree Janardhana Swamy Temple and the Nature Care Centre are the two main attractions there. The sight of the sun melting into the sea would blossom your poetic sense.

The mineral water gushing from the hill is believed to have medicinal properties. The Varkala sand has become an ideal spot for confluence of cultures exotic and alien.

Major attraction near Varkala is Kapil Beach where we could feel the real beauty of lake and sea together.

The vibrant colours of refracted sun rays embellish the sea shore during sunsets. Since it is not established as a tourist place yet, it is very calm and quiet.
