Sabarimala
Sabarimala is a Hindu pilgrimage center located in the Western Ghat mountain ranges of Pathanamthitta District, Perunad grama panchayat in Kerala. It is the largest annual pilgrimage in the world with an estimated 100 million devotees visiting every year. Sabarimala is situated 72 km from Pathanamthitta town, 191 km from Thiruvananthapuram and 210 km from Kochi. The holy shrine is located amidst dense forests in the rugged terrains of Western Ghats. Inhabited by various wildlife species. It is the 'Sacred Abode of Lord Ayyappa' and one of the most important Hindu pilgrim centre in the country.The traditional route to Sabarimala is from Erumeli (40 km.). Other routes are from Vandiperiyar, Uppupara and Chalakkayam via Plappally.

Aranmula

Aranmula is a temple village in the state of Kerala, India. At a distance of around 128 km from Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala, it is situated on the banks of the holy river Pampa. A centre of pilgrimage from time immemorial and a trade post of eminence, when the river was the chief means of transport, it is near Kozhenchery in Pathanamthitta District. Aranmula is famous for the snake boat race held on the last day of the Onam festival. Aranmula is also noted for its crafts and people's dexterity. The legendary Aranmula Kannadi (Aranmula mirror) comes from this place.

Maramon Convention
The Maramon Convention, the largest Christian convention in the world, is held at Maramon, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India annually during the month of February on the vast sand-bed of the Pampa River next to the Kozhencherry Bridge. It is organised by the Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association, the missionary wing of the Mar Thoma Church. The origin and growth of this annual get-together for one week at a stretch can be traced to the great revival movement which gathered momentum along with the reformation in the ancient Syrian Church of Malabar under the pioneering leadership of Abraham Malpan in the latter part of 19th century.

Kakki Reservoir

Kakki Reservoir is an artificial lake, located in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, India. The lake, which was created when Kakki and Anathode dams were built, is on one of the tributaries of Pamba, the Kakki tributary. The dams were built in 1966 as part of the Sabarigiri Hydroelectric project. Full reservoir level (FRL) is 981.45 meters above sea level according to the operators of the "twin" reservoirs, the Kerala State Electricity Board. The reservoir, which is also a tourist spot, is nestled in the Pathanamthitta reserve forest, very close to the Western Ghats.

Gavi
Gavi is a village in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, India. It is located 28 km southwest of Vandiperiyar, a town in Idukki on N.H 220, the highway connecting Kollam and Madurai. Gavi Eco-Tourism a project of the Kerala Forest Development Corporation has caught the attention of tourists, mostly from European countries. Gavi, offers its visitors activities like trekking, wildlife watching, outdoor camping in specially built tents, and night safaris.

Perunthenaruvi waterfalls
Perunthenaruvi Waterfalls are waterfalls 15 km from Pathanamthitta in Pathanamthitta District, Central Travancore region, Kerala State, India. It is a popular tourist destination. The name "Perunthenaruvi" means "The Great Honey Stream". This is a natural fall, down a rocky path into a ravine about 100 feet deep. Ideal for an outing, this place is a popular picnic spot. It is accessible by road. Thiruvalla Railway station is the nearest station, about 44 km and Airport nearest to the falls is Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, about 138 km.

Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple
The Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple is one of the "Divya Desams", the 108 temples of Vishnu revered by the 12 poet saints, or Alwars located near Aranmula, a village in Pathanamthitta District, Kerala, South India. The temple is dedicated to Parthasarathy, Lord Krishna's role as Arjuna's Charioteer in the Mahabharatha war. It is one of the most important Krishna temples in Kerala.
